The Role
As a Frontend Developer at Meewise, you will be at the heart of our user experience. You'll be responsible for bringing our designs to life and ensuring that our applications are fast, responsive, and easy to use. You will collaborate closely with our product, design, and backend teams to build new features, optimize existing ones, and ensure our application is scalable, accessible, and performs seamlessly.
What You'll Do
- Build & Maintain: Develop, test, and maintain high-quality, reusable code and components using React.js and TypeScript.
- Collaborate: Work closely with UI/UX designers to translate Figma mockups and wireframes into pixel-perfect, responsive web pages.
- Integrate: Connect the user interface with backend services by integrating RESTful APIs.
- Optimize: Actively monitor and improve application performance, identifying and resolving UI bugs and bottlenecks.
- Review: Participate in code reviews, offering constructive feedback to peers to maintain a high standard of code quality.
- Learn: Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in frontend development and EdTech.
Skills & Qualifications
Required:
- 1-2 years of professional experience in frontend web development.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience with React.js and its core principles (Hooks, Context API).
- Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and modern CSS frameworks (like Tailwind CSS or Material-UI).
- Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux Toolkit, Zustand, or Jotai).
- Familiarity with version control systems, specifically Git.
- A keen eye for detail and a passion for building clean, user-friendly interfaces.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Nice to Have:
- Knowledge of server-side rendering (SSR) frameworks like Next.js.
- Experience with UI testing libraries.
- A portfolio showcasing past projects and frontend capabilities.
